Kit Pick of the Week – Sony NEX FS7

One of the best things that KitMapper has is the ability to rent a full package. We make it possible for you to get a reasonably priced Sony NEX FS7 setup that you wouldn’t get anywhere else.

Hold up, you’re thinking it’s too good to be true, right? Well it isn’t. We offer full packages to get you off shooting right after a kit pick-up. No need to piece together a the perfect package for yourself. We’re currently offering three different full package types: filmaudio and lighting.

It’s probably a good idea to breakdown what ‘full package’ actually means in terms of this week’s Kit Pick of the Week.

The Sony NEX FS7 comes with:

  • 4 batteries, 4 32GB SD cards, and trust us you’ll need them.
  • Metabones Speedbooster Sony E — Canon EF, Canon EF Lens 24–70mm 1:2.8 L II USM, Canon EF Lens 100mm Macro 1:2.8 L IS USM
  • Kinotehnik LCDVFE Electronic Viewfinder
  • Rode NTG-2 Shotgun Microphone
  • Alphatron Tristar 4
  • Shape FS700 Shoulder Rig w/ handles, Libec RS-350R Tripod w/ ground level spreader
  • SDDR-289-X20 ImageMate All-in-One USB 3.0 Reader
  • Lastolite Ezybalance
  • A Gura Gear Backpack and other bits and bobs not listed

This is a pretty comprehensive package if you ask me. The Sony NEX FS7 records 4K internally super 35mm Exmor CMOS sensor, for some awe-inspiring depth of field. You’ll love the cinematic look it captures, and the Sony can record from 1 to 180 frames per second. Because of it’s lightweight body and durability, you can virtually take this camera anywhere with you.
