KitMapper meets Repairly, the on-demand tech support service

Here at KitMapper HQ we have the expertise to understand our kit, however, when it comes to smartphones and tablets, it’s a different story. When our founder’s Dave’s phone stopped responding, he was luckily rescued by Repairly, and we had to spread the news about the service.

We caught-up with Repairly, the on-demand smartphone and tablet repair service that everyone can benefit from in an emergency. Have a read and see how they’re revolutionising the way we get our technology repaired.

Tell us a little bit about Repairly, how does it work and how was the idea created?

It’s pretty simple really. All you have to do is head to and enter your postcode. That quickly takes you into booking where we ask a series of questions about your device, what needs to be repaired, and let you book a timeslot that’s suitable for you. We come collect the device from your office or home, repair the device and bring it back to you when it’s fixed.

We started Repairly because the only option to fix your phone or tablet required so much time and effort. In an age of great on-demand service that’s seamless for customers, it’s crazy that when it comes to technology repair the options are stuck in the 90’s.

Who mostly uses Repairly?

It’s no surprise that most of our bookings are made right from our customer’s desk at work. When you think about it, to get your phone repaired requires some effort. Taking-off coveted holiday time to get a device fixed doesn’t make sense when you could just have someone pick it up and do the job for you. No effort and you have you phone back before you notice it’s gone, it’s almost too good to be true.

Where are you currently offering your service and are you looking to expand?

Right now we are in Zones 1 and 2 of London. We’re looking to expand further throughout London, then move up the UK to Manchester and Edinburgh. Soon we’ll be planning our European expansion as well.

What is the quickest time Repairly has fixed a phone or tablet?

Our fastest repair was half-an-hour but our overall average is 3 hours per repair door-to-door.

How easy is it for us to use the service?

If you break your device often, you’d get pretty good at the booking process. It takes a new customer about 2 minutes, and the veteran roughly 36 seconds.

Where can we find out more?

If you go to or any of our social channels, you’ll find all of the information you need.
