KitMapper turned one this March! To commemorate a successful 2016, we are proud to have hosted an amazing party in partnership with Artquest’s 15th-anniversary celebrations. The occasion gathered the best of Londons’ creative community hosted by the trailblazing artist hub Apiary Studios as part of their relaunch, which includes the sumptuous Honey Moon bar on Hackney Road.
The party was fueled by Prosecco and Homeslice pizza; whilst guests enjoyed a video installation by artist Mike Ballard and showreel of projects supported by KitMapper and Artquest.
The partnership between KitMapper and Artquest is based on our shared aim to supporting a thriving and sustainable creative community across the UK.
Artquest has supported visual artists throughout every stage of their career since 2001. The programme includes residencies, internships, legal advice, peer mentoring seed funding, commissions, discounts and mentoring, plus a comprehensive, free-to-access information website. Artquest is a programme of University of the Arts London, funded by Arts Council England.
We have experienced first-hand how useful strong networks can be however in cities, networking can be difficult especially if you are working in the creative industry.
KitMapper has changed the way the creative community thinks about using tech kit. It is very exciting to be a go-to platform for the creative community, enabling artists to network, share experiences, projects and most importantly make money from tech equipment.
If you missed this event we would love to invite you the next one! Keep in touch and follow our journey for future events and collaborations opportunities.
